What’s It all About?

The Wheels, Blades & Waves themed event throws guests into a high voltage adrenalin rush never experienced before by the corporate market. Our superb combination of successful water based programmes are complimented with a captivating track driving adventure to give our guests a day to remember.

Goodwood Motor Circuit is located just under 30 miles away from Hamble Marina and is an ideal location for the track driving element of the event. The aim of this session is to let guests experience a ‘Millennium of Horsepower’ driving top of the range vehicles varying from Jaguar D type 3.8 litre to AC Cobra 302ci 4.8 litre, or even a Ferrari 308 GTS QV.

The only thing that can equal driving at Goodwood is commanding a Sunseeker Powerboat as it blasts through the water. Guests will be given the chance to race against each other across the broad straits of the Solent whilst completing a number of challenges taken from the highlights of our prize winning Sunseeker Powerboat Challenge.

Each of these driving experiences outlined in Wheels, Blades and Waves exist as half day activities which guests can swap as the day unfolds. Luxury coaches will transport guests at the start and at the end of the day, however, in order to speed up driving time the midday transfers will arrive in the form of helicopters!

Suggested Itinerary

8.00 Guests will assemble at The Solent Hotel and will be fully briefed on safety.

8.30 A luxury coach will transfer half the group to Goodwood, the remaining guests will be transported to Hamble Marina.

9.00 Guests arrive at the Sunseeker Powerboats at Hamble Marina.

9.15 The other group members arrive at Goodwood Motor Circuit.

12.15 Guests leave Goodwood in helicopters for a speedy 20 minute flight to Hamble. On arrival they are shown to The Key restaurant.

12.45 The water based guests arrive in Hamble driving their Sunseeker Powerboats. Lunch is served.

13.30 Following lunch teams exchange activities.

17.45 A Champagne reception is held for guests back at the hotel.

18.15 After farewells, guests leave at leisure.
