Starting with the basic skills of fire, food, shelter and water, guests will learn to light a fire using natural tinders and different techniques such as the bow drill.
What’s It all About?
Guests will build and sleep in their own shelters, natural navigation skills and safety and hygiene techniques in the wild will also be taught. By the end of the course participants will also understand how to source and purify water and identify safe trees and plants for food and medicine. Other vital skills include cooking in the wild, trapping and snaring, river crossings, improvised weapons, distress signals and a whole lot more.
