We have sourced the finest single origin chocolate from the world’s leading Artisan chocolate makers, to include Valrhona, Michael Cluzel and Armedei with complimenting wines such as Banyuls, Muscat and full bodied desert wines, a match made in heaven!
Content/Itinerary
Introduction
Begins with a fascinating short talk on the history of chocolate and wine. Then delegates are guided through how to correctly taste chocolate, learning about the snap, aroma, taste and the after mouth.
The Chocolate Tasting
Guests taste some of the finest single origin chocolate from around the world including Venezuela, Papua New Guinea, and Peru and St Lucia. Cocoa Bean varieties including Criollo,Trinitario and Forestero are then introduced.
The Wine Tasting
Guests are then given a talk – Delegates taste different wines from different regions and have to distinguish between the quality of the grapes and regions.
